About the project

What is Foresight.edu?

Our goal is to bring together researchers of the future, strategists and leaders — both current and future — to exchange knowledge and seek together the best solutions of tomorrow. Foresight.edu is a unique educational platform that combines elements of future research with a practical approach to the challenges of modern education. We create a space for dialogue between experts in different fields, supporting the development of innovative educational projects and the use of the latest technologies in teaching. At the heart of our activities, we place the building of a community based on mutual support and exchange of experience, which jointly responds to the challenges of a dynamically changing world.

Foresight is a process that explores different potential development paths for the future.

Instead of forecasting a single event, foresight analyzes many possible scenarios, which allows you to have a deeper understanding of what may come and prepare for the not yet obvious.

Foresight Sprint Workshop

We form a unique Busola Trends team combining trend analysis with strategic design. Our interdisciplinary perspective and many years of experience allow us to effectively support organizations in their development.

Małgorzata Piskórz

Market and trend researcher | Foresight Specialist

Researcher, forecaster and trend analyst. Founder of the foresight studio Busola Trends, where she supports cities and organizations in implementing long-term thinking into innovative processes and creating future-proof strategies. Member of the Polish Society of Market and Opinion Researchers, with extensive experience in the field of social and market research, including for the FMCG, financial and e-commerce industries. In her work, she integrates research knowledge with foresight methodology to offer results based on high quality data.

Michał Stokowski

Researcher | Specialist in urban development and foresight.

Researcher, specialist in urban development and foresight. Graduate of spatial management with a specialization in territorial foresight at the University of Warsaw, doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw, recipient of a French Government scholarship at Sorbonne University in Paris, co-founder of the student organization Ad Futurum and member of the Busola Trends team. In research work, the most important thing for him is the practical application and transfer of the acquired knowledge.

Karolina Thakker

Designer | Futures Thinking Specialist

Designer and researcher who combines thinking about the future with innovation in design processes. As the founder of Happy Futures Lab — a space for experimenting and prototyping happier futures — she supports companies, public institutions, educational centers and organizations focused on innovations. In her work, she uses creative tools and strategic thinking to help individuals and organizations face challenges and take advantage of the opportunities offered by new technologies.
